Mondays holiday programme

On Monday we had a smaller group of kids which was great as we were able to take them on a walk to the beach and for a picnic lunch at The Garden of Tane

Holiday programme 29 september

Today Jackie and I and another lovely lady Patricia ran a craft day for 5-10 year olds we had a great turn out of 20 children both from akaroa and surrounding areas as well as some lovely children who were in Akaroa on holiday. We firstly before lunch created masks. The children had to first design their masks on paper and were then set free with paint, glitter, feathers, wool, eyes,glue etc and they all turned out wonderfully. After lunch we did chalk drawings on the concrete and made a RED collage as well as played a lot of games on the courts all in all the children had a great day and all were so well behaved and lovely to have

Volcanoes at the beach

Here we all are at the beach-we built volcanoes using vinegar baking soda and food colouring

New blog for After School programme

We have decided to set up a blog to let ya all know what we get up to at our after school programme here in Akaroa. We will post pictures and information for all to see!
